Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when we receive 30% of the total package cost. The balance is payable on arrival in Srinagar, before your first hotel check-in. Prices are quoted per person on twin sharing unless stated otherwise and are valid for the dates in your written quote.
What the price includes
Each package page lists its inclusions and exclusions in full. Airfare, Gondola tickets, pony rides, local union taxis at the meadows, lunches and personal expenses are excluded unless we have written otherwise.
Cancellation and refunds
- More than 30 days before arrival — full refund of the advance, less transaction charges.
- 15 to 30 days before arrival — 50% of the advance is retained.
- Under 15 days before arrival — the advance is non-refundable.
- Trips cut short after they begin are not refundable for the unused portion.
Changes beyond our control
Weather, road closures, curfews, army movement and flight cancellations can force an itinerary change. Where that happens we substitute an equivalent alternative at no extra cost, or reschedule your trip. We are not liable for costs arising from events outside our control, and we strongly recommend travel insurance.
Hotels
Hotels are named in your itinerary. If one becomes unavailable we will tell you what we are substituting and what it costs before you travel.
Your responsibilities
Carry a valid government photo ID for every traveller; foreign nationals must carry passport and visa. Tell us about medical conditions before high-altitude sections. You are responsible for your own belongings.
Liability
We act as an organiser between you and the hotels, transport operators and activity providers. Our liability is limited to the value of the services we have contracted to supply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
